Turn a photo of two people into a heartwarming hug video with AI. Free to try — reunite loved ones in one moving moment.
Upload a photo of two people and the AI hug video generator animates them into a warm, realistic embrace. It's the most emotional edit on the internet right now — people use it to 'hug' grandparents from old photographs, reunite with loved ones who live far away, comfort a friend, or simply turn a favorite couple photo into a moment that moves. The AI works from your real photo and preserves both faces, so the embrace belongs to the actual people in it. Old scanned photos work too. Sign up and start with free generations.

Some photos deserve to move. DreamShootAI's hug video generator animates real photographs into gentle, natural embraces — romantic hugs, family hugs, the running-into-each-other's-arms reunion — while keeping every face true to the original photo. It pairs beautifully with our photo restoration tools: restore an old family photograph first, then animate the hug you wish you could still have. For an even more personal edit, try Hug My Younger Self, where the AI brings you together with a childhood photo of yourself. Videos download as MP4, ready for sharing or keeping private.
